Olivia Rodrigo birth chart with time of birth
American singer-songwriter who won three Grammys in 2022. She gave the 3:00 a.m. birth time herself in an interview, but it is a round figure, so the Ascendant sign is uncertain.

Olivia Rodrigo was born on February 20, 2003, in Murrieta, California, with the Sun at the start of Pisces. She gave the birth time herself, and with it the Ascendant falls on the first degree of Capricorn. Most striking are a near-exact Mars-Saturn opposition joined by Pluto, and three bodies in Aquarius.
What is known and what is not
The date and hospital come from a birth notice in The Californian (Temecula) of March 30, 2003: Olivia Isabel Rodrigo was born Thursday, February 20, 2003, at Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murrieta, to Jennifer and Chris Rodrigo of Temecula. Her post of February 20, 2017, about turning fourteen and Wikidata confirm the date. Astrotheme gives Temecula, where the family lived; the hospital is in neighbouring Murrieta.
Rodrigo gave the 3:00 a.m. time herself. In a Capital interview posted on YouTube on March 18, 2021, she lists quick facts about herself and says "I was born at 3am". Astro-Databank and Astrotheme give the same time and rate it A. A person's own words that can be heard at a public link meet Rodden rating A. We found no other version of the time.
"3am" is spoken and most likely rounded. At 3:00 the Ascendant is at 0°59′ Capricorn, and five minutes earlier it would still be in late Sagittarius. So we treat the Ascendant sign as uncertain and do not lean on the angles; planet signs and aspects do not depend on those minutes.
The chart uses the hospital coordinates and 3:00 Pacific Standard Time (UTC-8); daylight saving time began only on April 6 in 2003.
Mars opposite Saturn, with Pluto close by
The tightest aspect in the chart joins Mars at 22°03′ Sagittarius and a retrograde Saturn at 22°08′ Gemini: an opposition with an orb of 0°05′. Pluto at 19°41′ Sagittarius is conjunct Mars with an orb of 2°21′ and also opposes Saturn with an orb of 2°27′. Mars and Pluto are in the 12th house, Saturn in the 6th.
Tradition reads Mars against Saturn as tension between impulse and restraint, energy gathered slowly and released in measured doses. Modern astrologers see Pluto next to Mars adding depth and persistence. The 12th house describes what happens behind the scenes, the 6th daily work and craft.
Saturn also sits only 0°14′ from Capella, the bright star of the Charioteer. Ptolemy gave Capella the nature of Mars and Mercury; a star on a planet is classically read as amplifying its theme.
Three bodies in Aquarius and a Sun on the Pisces cusp
Mercury at 10°15′ Aquarius, Neptune at 11°25′ Aquarius and Uranus at 28°57′ Aquarius form a stellium in the 2nd house. Mercury and Neptune are conjunct with an orb of 1°10′. Opposite them is a retrograde Jupiter at 10°47′ Leo in the 8th house: Mercury opposes Jupiter with an orb of 0°32′, and Jupiter opposes Neptune with an orb of 0°38′.
The Sun at 1°23′ Pisces is in the 2nd house too and is conjunct Uranus across the sign boundary, orb 2°25′. By degree it is a conjunction, by sign it is not: the Sun has already entered water, Uranus is still in air.
Tradition links Uranus with independence, Neptune with imagination and music, Mercury with words. The Mercury-Neptune conjunction is read as thinking in images and sensitivity to the mood of words, and Jupiter opposite it as a pull to amplify what is said. The 2nd house describes the resources a person relies on.
Moon square Venus
The Moon at 18°24′ Libra forms a square to Venus at 18°13′ Capricorn with an orb of 0°11′, the second tightest aspect in the chart. Venus is in the 1st house with Chiron at 15°27′ Capricorn, a conjunction with an orb of 2°45′, and the Moon squares Chiron as well, orb 2°57′.
Tradition links a Libra Moon with a need for harmony and close relationships, and Venus in Capricorn with a reserved, demanding way of expressing feeling. The square between them describes friction between what is felt and how it is allowed to show. Modern astrology reads Chiron as a lasting vulnerability.
The Moon is also less than a degree from the MC at 19°16′ Libra, though formally in the 9th house; this detail depends on the same few minutes as the Ascendant.
