Toni Kroos birth chart without a reliable birth time
German footballer and 2014 world champion. The 12:56 time comes from a blog that calls it a registry time in one post and a corrected time in another, so the rating is C and the chart is cast for noon.

Toni Kroos was born on January 4, 1990, in Greifswald on the Baltic coast, then still in East Germany. The date and place are firm, the time is not, so the chart is cast for noon. Its main feature does not depend on the hour: five planets in Capricorn, among them the Sun and Saturn in its own sign.
What is known and what is not
Real Madrid's official profile gives Greifswald and January 4, 1990, the German Football Association confirms the date, and Wikidata agrees. The hospital is not known, so the coordinates are those of the town centre.
The time is harder. Astro-Databank and Astrotheme both give 12:56 p.m. with an AA rating, but both take it from the same place: AstroArena, a sport astrology blog run by Jannis Okun. In a 2014 post Okun calls 12:56 the registry office birth time ("standesamtliche Geburtszeit"), says he researched it himself in 2008, and in the same breath hedges with "12.56/57". In a later post on the same page, dated July 13, 2014, he calls 12:56 a "fine-corrected" time ("feinkorrigierter Geburtszeit"), which means rectified. Nobody has published an image of the record.
So the only source of the time contradicts itself: it is unclear whether 12:56 was copied from the registry or derived astrologically. Under our rules that is a Rodden rating of C, and we give 12:56 only as a version. That version has a further catch: at 12:56 the Ascendant sits at the end of Taurus, and a few minutes would move it into Gemini.
The chart is cast for 12:00 noon Central European Time (UTC+1); there is no daylight time in January. It has no houses, Ascendant or MC, and we leave out the Moon's degree and aspects, since the Moon covers more than 14° in a day. Its sign is certain, though: the Moon was in Aries for the whole of January 4, 1990. How to read such charts is explained in the section on unknown birth times.
A Capricorn stellium
The Sun at 13°49′ Capricorn, retrograde Mercury at 23°56′ Capricorn, Saturn at 16°00′ Capricorn, Uranus at 5°57′ Capricorn and Neptune at 12°09′ Capricorn form a stellium. The Sun is conjunct Neptune with an orb of 1°40′ and conjunct Saturn with an orb of 2°10′. All these planets move slowly, so the cluster stays in Capricorn whatever the hour of birth.
Saturn in Capricorn is in its own sign, where classical astrology counts it strong. Capricorn is traditionally tied to patience, structure and results that come after years of work. When a sign holds this many planets, astrologers read it as a character in which those themes dominate.
Saturn also sits on a fixed star: Vega is 0°50′ away. Tradition associates Vega with art and refinement, and here that theme falls on Saturn, the planet of discipline.
The Capricorn-Cancer axis: oppositions to Chiron
Chiron at 13°36′ Cancer faces the Capricorn cluster. The Sun opposes Chiron with an orb of 0°13′, the tightest major aspect in the chart. Neptune opposes Chiron with an orb of 1°27′, and Saturn opposes Chiron with an orb of 2°23′. On the same axis Jupiter at 4°45′ Cancer is in opposition to Uranus with an orb of 1°12′, so both ends of the axis are occupied.
Tradition reads an opposition as tension between two poles that has to be held in balance. In the modern reading Chiron is linked with vulnerability, and Cancer with home and family. On the other side stands Capricorn with its demands on oneself.
The Aries Moon also belongs to the cardinal cross, but without the time we do not know whether it squares this axis, so we draw no conclusions about it.
Pluto, the Nodes and Saturn
Pluto at 17°10′ Scorpio is in a square to the North Node at 16°55′ Aquarius, orb 0°14′. Pluto also sextiles Saturn with an orb of 1°09′. Astrologers associate the sextile with support without pressure, and here it links Saturn's endurance with Pluto's depth.
The tightest aspect of all is a minor one: Mars at 12°05′ Sagittarius semisextile Neptune, orb 0°03′.
